Lil Kim Announces Collaboration With Rihanna In The Works

Lil’ Kim may not get along with Nicki Minaj, but there’s one female pop star who she would love to work with. Hip-hop’s queen of raunch hints at a new collaboration with pop provocateur Rihanna.
The Queen Bee released her own remix to Rihanna’s “Hard,” but reveals that another pairing could be in the works. “I’m a huge Rihanna fan, and she’s a friend of mine, so if I had to guess, I’m 90% sure that song is probably in the works,” she told Australian website Lifelounge.
But Kim, who’s currently playing intimate shows in the U.S. and abroad, doesn’t want people to judge the song before it happens. “I look at it this way: if it happens, it happens. And it should be a surprise. It shouldn’t be something that people are anticipating, or have their own personal opinions on it before it even comes out. So I probably won’t ever mention that again.”
Although she may have choice words for Diddy and Drake, it’s all love when it comes to RiRi. “I just love Rihanna, I think she’s great,” gushed Kim.

Eminem’s ‘Recovery’ album is doing crazy numbers. In addition to debuting at # 1 this week with 741,000 copies sold. The album has basically taken over the Billboard Hot 100 with 7 songs in it’s singles chart.
This is just an insane accomplishment that nobody could have predicted.

Playboy Suing Drake For Copyright Infringement Over Song Best I Ever Had

Playboy the American men’s magazine empire is making an unexpected move and filing a lawsuit against Drake.

The rapper’s #1 hit record “Best I Ever Had” is earning him more than just platinum plaques and will force him to face a possible court date now that Hugh Hefner’s signature company has filed a copyright infringement complaint against him.
According to the legal documents, Aubrey Graham a.k.a. Drake, Cash Money Records and Universal Music Group are responsible for infringing upon the use of the song “Fallin In Love” by Hamilton, Joe Frank and Dennison/Reynold.
The original song, whose rights are owned by Playboy Music Inc. and Playboy Enterprises, is reportedly the song heard in the beginning of Drake’s track and was used without permission.
Playboy says that Drake and the other defendants quote:
“Knew or should have reasonably known, that the sound recording was protected by copyright…” and that “each Defendant continues to infringe upon Plaintiff’s rights in and to the copyrighted sound recording.”
The company also says that since the infringement is “continuing” and “ongoing“ they want an injunction to stop the sales and distribution of the record and Drake and the defendants held responsible for Playboy’s costs and attorney fees.
Playboy would also like a portion of all gains, profits and advantages made off their original production.

A Lady Gaga fan reportedly paid $1 million to appear in her new music video. (Are you fucking kidding me?)
A Russian billionaire gave the pop singer the huge sum for the chance to star alongside her in the nine-minute promo for ‘Alejandro’. (Some people have more money then sense)
The wealthy admirer, who is only known as Arkady, can be spotted in the video playing a cop dressed in a black leather hat and coat.
The 30 year old said: “Yes it was me in the clip, but I can’t give further details.” (You couldn’t pay me enough to be in her video… well ok yeah maybe you could LOL!!)
Gaga is also said to have been sworn to secrecy about his part in the promo.
The short film has attracted criticism for its religious overtones, which include the ‘Poker Face’ singer swallowing rosary beads whilst dressed as a nun.
