Eminem’s New Song Is ‘Uplifting’ The 3a.m rapper’s latest offering will be more accessible says his manager…
Eminem’s new single Not Afraid has been described by the rapper’s manager as ‘uplifting.’
Em announced that the single will be his first release from new LP, Recovery and the track, produced by Boi-1da is expected to get it’s US radio premiere this Friday.
One man who has already heard the We Made You star’s latest offering is his manager, Paul Rosenburg who told Billboard magazine: “It’s not a dark song, it’s an uplifting song…It’s more accessible to more fans”.
Rosenburg also revealed Em’s decision to rename his upcoming LP, Recovery instead of Relapse 2 stating: “Eminem had pretty much completed a whole second album worth of material but at some point he took a step back, looked at it and said, ‘I think I want to record some more’.”
He added: “But in recording, the album started to sound so different and was going in such a different direction that he decided to keep it going and turn it into a whole new album. The last album was really for the core Eminem fans. I think this record will open that up a bit.”
Rosenburg also confirmed that Dr. Dre, Just Blaze, Jim Jonsin and Mr. Porter have all produced tracks on the new LP, due for release 22nd June.
